Training Program at UN Headquarters

The ‘Training Program on the United Nations’ is a premier pedagogical program on the UN agenda led by UN high representatives and staff from international organizations over the globe. Both domestic and international students from middle school or high school from all over the world will not only visit the UN Headquarters in New York, USA, and Geneva, Switzerland but will also be able to discuss global issues with UN high officials.

Through this program, participants will be able to learn about international affairs both academically and practically, have an opportunity to network with UN officials, ambassadors, and NGO officials, and finally, learn tips on how to build a career at the UN.


The vouchers for GLEC Winners only include course fees without transportation, accommodation, and meals. Please kindly note additional charges may occur depending on the confirmed schedules and inquire more details to glec@hopetofuture.org

Who can apply?


  • Minimum age of 16 years
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English
    (Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity, Makes mistakes and misunderstand sometimes)
  • Own laptop is required


When is it?


  • January 17 - 27, 2024 (scheduled)
  • Day 1: College Tour
    Day 2-4: MUN Conference at Yale University
    Day 5: College  Tour
    Day 6-9: United Nations Expert Training
  • The schedule is subject to change according to the academic calendars.

Is it international?


  • Yes, it is.
    All courses including the team activities are attended by students from all over the world in a group size of 20-25 students. The main language is English.
