Hope to the Future Association (HFA) is a non-profit organization under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and an international NGO that has achieved the status of associated Civil Society Organization with the United Nations Department of Global Communications (UN DGC) in 2014. In 2018, we obtained the official membership status of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) Korea, a global research institute for higher education and civic education.


To achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), HFA has been proceeding with educational programs to develop the global capacity of young people and supporting programs to enhance youth’s quality of life in poor countries. Based on its mission as an international education NGO, HFA aims to raise awareness about international issues by discussing the UN and its agenda in cooperation with UN agencies, international organizations, education institutions, local governments, and educational institutions.

United Nations Academic Impact Korea

UN Academic Impact Korea (UNAI Korea) was established in 2012 and has been an active non-profit organization registered with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea since 2013. UNAI Korea is an implementing body of the ten basic principles of UNAI, promoting higher education and global citizenship education through collaborations with institutions of higher education and research both in Korea and overseas. UNAI Korea supports the pursuit of the three foundational goals of the United Nations Charter: peace, development, and protection of human rights. Working with 68 universities and higher education institutions within Korea (as of March 2016), UNAI Korea promotes and implements the UN’s major education initiatives. UNAI Korea also supports Korean universities and institutions to build partnerships with the UN and other higher education institutions overseas to use education as an engine for addressing global challenges.

Global Max Edu Co., Ltd., established in 2009, is a company located in the heart of Seoul, specializing in English education programs, and aims for quality equity between public and private education by continuously providing reliable and proven quality content. Global Max Edu Co. provides an essay grading system based on ETS and English language exams such as SAT, TOEFL, and GRE. It also offers programs for a wide range of levels, ranging from Grade 4 to university students, with its materials be used for both main and supplementary material. Global Max Edu Co. plans to expand its products in order to provide more globalized education opportunities.

Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University

Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (立命館アジア太平洋大学 Ritsumeikan Ajia Taiheiyō Daigaku), commonly referred to as APU, is a private institution inaugurated in April 2000 in Beppu, Ōita, Japan. APU was made possible through the collaboration of three parties from the public and private sectors: Ōita Prefecture, Beppu City and the Ritsumeikan Trust. The university has an enrollment of about 5,850, including approximately 2,900 domestic, and 2,900 international students (a 50-50 domestic-international ratio) originating from 90 countries and regions. Half of the 172 full-time faculty members are also foreign nationals who come from 24 countries and regions. The Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University is located at the top of a mountain in the Jumonjibaru area in Beppu, Ōita, on the island of Kyushu in southern Japan.

Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is a public university established in 1997. TDTU has become one of the top research universities in Vietnam. TDTU offers about 40 undergraduate programs, 18 master programs, and 25 doctoral programs in a variety of fields such as law, applied science, technology, vocational skills, social sciences, economics, business, foreign languages, arts with a total enrollment of over 22,500 students. TDTU has also been accredited by The High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCÉRES) which recognizes that TDTU complies with French and European standards for universities. In addition, TDTU was rated in the top 200 worldwide by the UI Greenmetric World University Rankings in 2017 for its commitment to building a green educational environment and its use of solar panels on campus.

ThangLong University (TLU) was established in 1988 and was the first private university in Vietnam. Known for its modern architecture and rosy gardens, TLU provides high-quality education to meet the social demand for qualified human resources to serve the country’s fast industrialization and modernization by using the most up-to-date teaching tools. TLU is composed of 18 departments ranging across mathematics, foreign languages, economics, health sciences, social sciences, and physical education. TLU has been growing fast as it has established exchange and cooperation programs with several educational institutions from abroad and has an enrollment rate of over 7000 students.
